Joseph Henry Ledbetter

Joseph Henry Ledbetter amazing husband, loving father, and wonderful friend left this earth on October 11, 2020. He left behind many people who loved him dearly and whose hearts will hurt until they see him again. He was born to James Henry Ledbetter and Opal Fay Hayes Ledbetter on September 11, 1973.

Joe was a man full of love and adventure. He loved his family, especially his children, William, Walter, TJ, and Emily. He would talk endlessly about his love for them and their amazing talents. They were a bright spot in his life. He also loved his stepson Benjamin, who quickly became his debating partner. Joe was the favorite uncle of many nieces and nephews, he always made sure he had candy to hand out freely to all the little ones and was responsible for spoiling many dinners.

Joe loved this beautiful world. He loved to be out walking the hills and mountains of the basin. He was always on a quest to find something new and interesting he could stick in his pockets. His favorite finds were rocks, big or small. He spent many hours driving with his wife on any dirt road they could find, never afraid to scratch the truck, knowing there could be something amazing just up ahead.

Joe lived a life of service. He was always helping someone with projects big and small. It filled his heart with joy knowing he could do something for someone else to make them a little happier. Many long nights were spent trying to fix a problem, despite already spending a full day at work. While his own heart was often troubled, he consistently wanted others to be happy.

Joe was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He recently fulfilled a long-time goal of going to the temple. He loved his Savior and spend hours listening to scriptures and conference talks. He was fascinated with Enoch and wanted to someday be like him. I hope he gets to spend some time learning with him in Heaven.

He is survived by his wife, Angela, children, William, Walter, TJ, and Emily, siblings; Tammy (Ed), Christine, Jon (Shallan), Ricky (Dawn), and Scott. He is proceeded in death by his parents, and brother.

Joe you are loved beyond time and eternity. Your smile and your love will be missed more than words can say.
