Jimmy was the toughest guy we will ever get the opportunity of meeting. He knew the value of hard work and unconditional love. He was an amazing Husband, Father, and Grandfather. We always knew that he was the ideal example of what a family man should be. He was a farmer at heart, the farm was everything to him and his family. He raised sheep, advanced to cattle, farmed, irrigated, you name it! It is because of Jimmy and all of his grit and generosity; we are the family we are today. If Jimmy wanted something done right, he would always say “I better do it by myself then.” With a smirk, as always. He worked in the oilfield from the age of 17 to 68, happily retiring in 2013. Everyone knew to drive by the house to check and see if the shop garage door was open to pop in and have an occasional beer or small talk. He loved the mountains, loved to fish, loved to hunt, and loved everything about the outdoors. He loved to farm with his son, Dwayne, and grandchildren Rachelle, Devin, Troy “TJ”. Jimmy has numerous friends, family, previous coworkers, and plenty more that will greatly miss his presence.
