Jeffery Paul Oaks

Jeffery Paul Oaks, age 43 of Vernal passed away at his home on November 19, 2020.  He was born in Vernal, Utah on April 6, 1977 to Jeffery M. Oaks and Ramona Gerrard Barnes. 

Paul loved to draw, listen to music and hunt for arrow heads.  He also enjoyed catfishing, BBQ cooking, and spending time going for rides to the mountains. But spending time with his daughter Breanna was the best.

Jeffery is survived by his parents: Jeff and Ramona, children, Breanna, J.D. Oaks Kemp and Brooklyn Mitchell; brothers; Ryan Oaks, Deven (Aryn) Oaks, and Ben (Melissa) Barnes, sister; Tiffiny (Tyler Hofmann. He is survived by his mother Mona Barnes and father Jeff and (Kala) Oaks. Also survived by step-siblings, Vonda Chapoose, Jerica Gamble, Greg Foster, and Wes Foster.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather; Merritt Barnes, and grandparents; Salty and Laveen Oaks, and Bud and Lela Barnes.

Memorial services will be held Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Blackburn Mortuary from 5-7 p.m.  

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Vernal Blackburn and Sons Mortuary and Cremation Care.
