Ferris Gale Murray passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. He was born October 3, 1931 in Vernal, Utah, He was the second child born to Arlie and Myrtle (Gurr) Murray. As a young child Ferris grew up on the family farm in Jensen. He served in the armed forces (Army) during the Korean Conflict; He married Beverly Kendall in 1952 and was blessed with 10 children. They later divorced. He married Sandy Swett.

He is survived by his wife Sandy, his children: Rodney (Wanda), Julie (Randy) Miller, Randy (Korin), David (Cami), Gwen, Leisa (Randy) Hardman, Apryl (Tommy) Lund, Ryan (Darchel), Angela (Mac) Jones and Eric (Karrie). 29 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 8 step-children, 20 grandchildren many great grandchildren. Sisters, Elaine Bascom, JoAnn McCracken; brother, Jimmy (Gloria); sister–in-law Jean Murray, and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his daughter (Gwen), Son-in-law (Randy Miller), granddaughter (Danyale), parents, brothers, Bud, Doyle, George, Blaine; brothers-in-law, Body Bascom, Robert McCracken and sisters-in-law, Cleo Murray and Rose Murray.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Jensen Ward Chapel. Viewing will be on Saturday at the chapel from 12:00 noon until 1:45 PM prior to the services. Interment will be in the Jensen Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion, under the direction of the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary and Cremation Care.
