Billie Jean (Berensen) Schoenberger passed away at the age of 90 on Tuesday. May 5, 2020 in Vernal, UT

at the Uintah Care Center.

Billie was born in Kenilworth, UT April 30, 1930 to her parents, James Henry and Venice (Nelson) Berensen and was one of fifteen children.

She married Albert Eugene Schoenberger from Helper, UT on June 10, 1950. They had five children:

Bernadette, Michael, Carl, Theresa, and Jim. They spent many years raising their children in Albuquerque, NM and later moved to Vernal, UT.

Billie Jean was first and foremost a servant of God and an active member of the Vernal Church of Christ.

She was completely devoted to the Lord, her husband, family, friends, and brethren.

Her interests were homemaking, gardening, crafts, crocheting, and baking. She was best known for her

famous sugar cookies. She diligently studied her bible every morning. In her younger years she loved to bowl.

She also played solitaire but never turned down a challenge of war or slapjack with her grandchildren.

Billie is survived by four children: Bernadette Harrison (Rocky), Carl (Vanita), Theresa Clark (Clayton), and

Jim as well as 3 brothers and 3 sisters and 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 12 great great

grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Eugene Schoenberger, her son Michael who passed away a few days after his birth, her parents James Henry and Venice (Nelson) Berensen, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
