William (Billy) Arnold

William Kay (Billy) Arnold- Born April 18, 1931 to William Henry and Delphia Averett Arnold passed away on Wednesday June 8, 2016 at the age of 85 at his home in Vernal, Utah surrounded by his loved ones. William married Clara Bowden on October 25, 1952 they have five children: Raymond K. (Ruth) Arnold, Roosevelt Utah; Diane (Larry) Bosch, Conway Arkansas, Dawn (Wayne) Lay, Riverton Utah; Debbie Fletcher, Vernal Utah; Darlene (Roger) Scheneman, Douglas Wyoming. William has 24 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. He has seven siblings: Marlene (Joe) Roybal, Oleana (Bud) Davis, MaryLou (Dan) McKee, Larry (Judy) Arnold, Bob (Della) Arnold, Janet (Bob) Chadwick, Anita (Kendall) Rasmussen, and his brother by choice James C. (June) Fisher. William served in the United Stated Navy from 1951 to 1954 during the Korean War. He retired from the Bureau of Land Management after 40 years as a Range Technician. He is preceded in death by one grandchild William C. Arnold, his parents and two sisters Marlene and Oleana. Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 14, 2016 at 10 am at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview cemetery with military honors from the American Legion and Utah Army National Guard.
