Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother Wendy Jenson Stubbs was welcomed home by heavenly angels on February 11th, 2017. Wendy was born July 21st, 1950 in Roosevelt, Utah to Mauna Lou Frandsen Jensen & Stanley Christian Jenson. Her parents divorced shortly after she was born and Stanley died soon after in the Korean War. Her mother later was remarried to Murel Kirk Benson She married Sterling John Stubbs on October 17, 1967 and later had the marriage solemnized on June 25th, 1976 in the Provo Temple. Together they had 5 sons and 2 daughters who became the greatest joy of their lives. Wendy had an adventurous heart. She saw beauty in everything in the world. She loved nature and the outdoors. Wandering through the little dirt roads and trail in the surrounding mountains brought her a lot of happiness. She had beautiful flower gardens that featured many wonderful rocks and logs that she would find on her adventures. As much beauty as she found in nature, she found twice as much in people. Wendy could see the good in everyone. She focused on what was good in them and loved unconditionally. More than one person has said she made them feel accepted. She never judged anyone and would pull people in to feel like a member of her family. Never has there been a more loving heart than hers. Wendy was a smart and talented lady. She is known for making homemade gifts that people have cherished from doll furniture and Barbie dresses to barns and Tonka shops. She enjoyed woodworking and sewing and all other types of creating. She taught herself how to play the autoharp and guitar, wrote poetry, and did hours of genealogy. Her greatest love is for her family. Her family never doubted her love for them. She had the ability to help each of them believe in themselves and know that they always would have someone standing in their corner. She made sure that her family knew they were her greatest joy and she always enjoyed being with them. She is proceeded in death by her mother Mauna Lou, fathers Stanley Christian Jenson & Murel Kirk Benson, brothers Mark, Michael, and Barry. She is survived by her husband Sterling John Stubbs, children Sterlene, Steven (Robyn), Shannon (Michelle), Shad (Avis), Scott (Crystal), Angela & Shon (Tara), 27 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
