Wanda Irene Slaugh

Our devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend always putting others first, Wanda Irene Slaugh, died January 23, 2018 at Ashley regional Medical Center, Vernal, Utah. She was born September 19, 1937 in Vernal, Utah to Ezra Coleman & Bertha Ann Kendall Boren. She married her sweetheart Myron Kay Slaugh on September 19, 1952 in Dragerton, Utah.  She moved to Vernal from Manila in 1981. Wanda was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day- Saints. She loved camping in the mountains, and canning from her garden. We will miss her homemaking skills.

Survived by her husband; Myron Slaugh; children; Jeanie (Jimmy) Anderson; Vent (Laura) Slaugh; Brad Slaugh of Neola; Kevin (Carma) Slaugh all of Vernal. 13 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Gwen Irene Slaugh ; and son, Lance Slaugh

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ashley 1st Ward Chapel (3040 North Vernal Ave).  Viewing will be from 9:00-10:45 prior to the services all at the Chapel. Burial will be in the Manila Cemetery, under the care and direction of the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary & Cremation Care.
