Wanda Rae Atwood Lopez

Wanda Rae Atwood Lopez, age 91, Lifetime resident of Vernal, passed away on April 16, 2020 in Vernal, Utah. She was born December 4, 1928 in Vernal, Utah to Alonzo Joseph & Hazel Winnie Robbins Atwood. Wanda married her sweetheart Patrick H. Lopez. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Wanda enjoyed camping in the Uintah Mountains, Fishing, Cooking meals for her family and riding their side by side. She was fun to be around and she loved her grandkids and great grandkids. Wanda is survived; children, Patsy (Weston) Serrano; Troy (Gayla) Lopez; 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 14 Great Great Grandchildren; brothers, Blaine (Elaine) Atwood of Vernal; Tommy Atwood of Phoenix, AZ; She was preceded in death by her brother, Cap; sisters, Stella, Melba, Venice, Olen, Madge.

A viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary from 1:00-6:00 PM. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.
