Vincent Scott Ream

December 26, 1974 — July 7, 2022

Vincent Scott Ream, age 47 passed away on July 7, 2022 after a short battle with cancer at his home in Magna, Utah surrounded by his family.  He was born December 26, 1974 in Vernal, Utah to Richard Vincent Ream and Colleen Rasmussen Ream.  Vincent attended Hunter High School and graduated in 1993.  Ten years later in 2003 he met his sweetheart, Mitzi Nicole Guild.  They were married and had two children, son, Colby Richard Ream and daughter, Sierra Maria Ream.  Vincent was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Vincent loved the out of doors and especially loved camping with his family, his parents and siblings.  He found joy in the simple things like setting up the tent, early morning fires and walking around the lake.  He especially loved to fish and encouraged his children in this activity by taking them fishing from the time that they were very small.  Vincent’s hospice, Quality Home Health and Hospice, was able to grant him one last fishing trip with his family by going to the Day Break ponds where he was able to get out his tackle box and hook some lines.  We like to think he inherited this love of fishing from his Great Grandpa Johnson.  Vincent liked to watch the NASCAR races and enjoyed going to Lagoon Amusement Park with his family.  He could be found taking Mitzi on trips to Wendover, Nevada or spending hours with her creating diamond art painting.  He loved his family and will be greatly missed by them.

Vincent was employed by Southland Corporation (7-11) as a teenager and adult.  He also worked for Classic Cabinets, PTI- Professional Transportation Inc as a driver for Union Pacific railroad workers and until his illness became too difficult at Amazon in a job that he really loved.

Survivors include; his wife, Mitzi Nicole Ream, two children, Colby and Sierra. Parents; Richard and Colleen Ream, Brothers; Richard Adam Ream (Rachel) and Benjamin Allen Ream, Brother-in-Law Chris Hopkins, Mother-in-Law Rhonda Smith, along with two nieces and four nephews as well as his grandmother; Donna Rasmussen.

He will be buried in the Vernal Memorial Park next to his sister, Tawnya.
