It is with a deep sense of sorrow and loss, our family announces the loss of an incredible woman, Terri Rasmussen. On Sunday, September 14", Terri went to be with her loved ones and our lord and savior.

Terri lived a life of love and adventure, making an impact everywhere she went. In 1947, she was born to Boyd and Oma Cloward as one of five children. Terri enjoyed a simple childhood with a home full of siblings where they were never short of fun, adventure and a touch of chaos She loved her siblings dearly and each had such a special place in her heart. In early adulthood she met the love of her life, Stanley Rasmussen. They built a life together in Rangely where they were involved citizens of their small community for their entire lives. Terri was a substitute teacher, a cook for the senior center, a secretary, a volunteer and a stay-at-home Mom/Grandma.

In 1967, Terri and Stanley welcomed their first child, Jantina (Jannie). She was the love of their lives until 12 years later, their hearts opened to another beautiful daughter, Jayda in 1980. Terri and Stanley were so fulfilled with their girls who they loved to go out into the hills with. They would rock hunt, go camping, fishing, explore new parts of the mountains and always find something to do. You could also always find them in the stands cheering for Jayda as they competed in high school sports.

When Jannie and Jayda later welcomed children of their own, Terri and Stanley were overwhelmed with joy and love for their grandchildren who they spoiled and took on even more adventures. They thoroughly enjoyed time supporting their grandchildren in everything they did. loved to watch them run around in the yard, and loved them with a pure love that couldn't be matched. Even greater, Terri had the pleasure to get to know three of her great-grandchildren who she simply couldn't get enough of.

Terri was intentional in her thoughts, actions and love. She was loyal, fierce and loved what she loved and didn't mind if people didn't agree. She loved to read, loved history and loved to be outside. She was a beautiful soul and is already so dearly missed. Terri is survived her daughters Jannie Leigh (Bill and Jayda Lewis (Brad) as well as her grandchildren Kali Wilson (Tyler), Kellin Leigh (Lexi, Wyatt Lewis, Tyson Lewis, Trey Lewis and Kinley Lewis as well as her 3 great-grandchildren - Aubrey Wilson, Tucker Wilson and Stetson Leigh. She is preceded in death by Stanley Rasmussen, Boyd and Oma Cloward, Mary Hatch, Mina Pauls, Butch Cloward and Allan Cloward.

Services for Terri will be held at the Rangely Cemetery at 11:00 on Saturday, October 4h. Lunch will follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 125 Eagle Crest Street in Rangely. Terri and Stanley loved their garden and plants, in lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider potted plants so their legacy can live on for years to come.
