Sherry Ann Hacking, Our Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and Great grandmother, went peacefully at her home to her Heavenly Father on the morning of December 30, 2017 at the age of 72. Sherry was born on July 21, 1945 in Vernal Utah to Myron and Helen Hacking. She spent most of her childhood in Bonanza, Utah where many memories & friendships were started. She married Jerry R. Luck on May 30, 1963, in Vernal, Utah they marriage was later solemnized in the Vernal Temple. They were blessed with three wonderful children, and spent many happy years together. Sherry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a very thoughtful member of her church, she loves her Heavenly Father very much. Sherry greatest love was her family and friends, She loved spending time with them, camping, hunting, fishing, and many get togethers. Sherry loved music and played the piano, she also loved her dog Sami, and many special companions over the years. She also created many beautiful quilts & crochet projected for her family and friends. As well as beautiful paintings. Sherrry worked for the Judd's answering service, Dr. V Durrell Chivers for 25 years. He last job being at the Dinosaur Motel. She was always happy and ambitious and always willing to help anyone in need. Sherry is survived by her husband Jerry R. Luck; children, Trisha (Steve) Isem, Jerry B. (Barbara) Luck all of Vernal. Grandchildren, Kyle Luck, Phillip (Kassy) Neville, Vince Luck and Aidan Mussack; Great-grandchild, Willow Luck; brother, Jim (Barbara) Hacking from Nevada; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sibling's, Tom Hacking & Myrna Murray, daughter, Shonna Luck; Grandchildren, Sasha Neville, Cassandra Neville and Spirit Neville. Funeral will be conducted on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Glines Stake Center (78 South Aggie Blvd). A viewing for family and friends will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 at the Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary, and at the Chapel from 9:45-10:45 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery. As you close your eyes in Slumber Sherry we know that God will say that you've earned your step up beyond this world, with the love you've shared along your way.
