Savanna Riker

Savanna Lynn Riker was born March 18, 2000 to Vance Jason Riker and Jessica Lynn Moses. She passed away June 24, 2016. She was her daddy's "baby girl" and her mammas "Boo". To know her was to love her, she had a contagious laugh, a never ending smile and a heart of gold. She had an older sister Heaven and an older brother Trey. They were joined by two brothers Gavin, Branden and a sister Megen. She loved animals but not as much as music. You could always find Savanna with her headphones on, or in the car listening to music. She enjoyed collecting rocks and arts and crafts. She loved her family and her friends and considered a lot of them family. Her life touched so many lives and she will be missed more than she will ever know. She was preceded in death by grandparents William Ira (Joyce Ann Pitcher)Locke, Kenneth Harold (Doris Vivian Brown)Riker, and Ralph D Moses. She is survived by parents Vance Jason (Chaunte Kilgrow) Riker, Jessica (Tony Hill) Moses. Sisters, Heaven (Johnathan Trevena) Moses, Megen Carroll, brothers Trey Austin Riker, Gavin Carroll, and Branden Kilgrow. Uncles: Kenneth Riker, Clifton Riker, Nicholas Moses, Aunts: Kenzi (Justin Kelson)Moses, Hollie Bess, Kimberly Richins, and Micher Richie. Grandparents Sidney Walter (Marilyn Locke) Riker, J.R. (Cindy) Bess, Robert (Darlene) Bonnell, Bernell (Patsy) Marshall, and David Moses, as well as nephew Kody Jace Trevena and countless cousins, extended family and friends she considered family. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, July 1, 2016 @ 11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. A viewing for Friends and Family may call Thursday evening from 6-8 and then on Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery, under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
