Sandra Guttery

Sandra Walliece Guttery, age 76, passed away November 26, 2013 at the Uintah Care Center. She was born July 15, 1937 in Joplin, Missouri to Joseph and Lousie Reed Martin. Sandra attended school in Roosevelt and College at West Minister College. She loved education being employed with the School District as a Special Ed Teacher. She also worked for Hiko Bell Mining and Oil in Vernal. Sandra was a devoted Catholic all of her life. She is survived by her Son, Rick Mark Guttery of West Jordan; daughter, Alicia Guttery (David) Holmes; grandchildren, Mark Reay, Chris Reay, Jack Guttery, Cricket Guttery, Chelsie Hardinger, Kirstie Myers, Makayla Hardinger. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. James Catholic Church. Friends and family may call, Friday evening from 6-7 for a viewing with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park, Services have been entrusted to the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
