Ruby Wilson Sweatfield

Ruby Wilson Sweatfield, age 87, was born on August 3, 1928 in Joplin, Missouri to Harvey and Eva Wilson. She passed away on January 22, 2016 in Vernal, Utah. She married her sweetheart Carl Sweatfield in 1947, together they had 2 children; a son, Terry Sweatfield, and a daughter, Karleen Reilly. She loved her 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter. Ruby was a home maker her whole life. She and Carl lived all over the U.S. & Canada. They retired back to Vernal in 1977, where this is where they always called home. Carl died in 1979, Ruby later married Clift Massey, He passed away in 2000. Mom loved to be on Diamond Mt. in her cabin, hunting, & fishing. She always grew a big garden & loved her flowers. She is survived by Kelse & Wayne Wilson, & her sister Helen Macclendon Graveside services were held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Vernal Memorial Park. A viewing one hour prior to travel to the Cemetery. Service was entrusted to the loving care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
