Rodney Glenn Barnes passed away September 22, 2025 at his home in Vernal, UT. He was born September 28, 1961 in San Jose, CA.

Rodney married Helen Burnes on August 12, 1994.

Together they serviced a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oklahoma from 2018 – 2021.

Rodney is survived by his wife Helen, children; Zachary Allen (Brianna), Ashley Marie, step children; Tamara Baumann, Amy Ashby, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, and grandparents.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Vernal 6th Ward LDS Chapel (100 N 850 W).
