Robert Lee Workman May 23, 1955 – July 21, 2025

Robert Lee Workman, beloved husband, father, grandfather passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 21, 2025.

Born on May 23, 1955, in Vernal, Utah, to Bill and Uvon Workman. Throughout his life, he was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in many callings and teaching his family how to follow Jesus Christ.

Robert found joy in the simple pleasures of life—camping and fishing at Oaks Park, cheering for his favorite NASCAR and F1 racing teams, watching Sunday afternoon football, and in earlier years flying airplanes. He would often talk about upcoming air shows and loved to go and watch the Thunderbirds show their talents and skills in the air. Early in life he contributed to his community in the best way he knew how through his involvement with the Civil Air Patrol. He had a passion for learning and was endlessly fascinated by space, the stars, and what amazing things the future might hold. Robert was always excited to see his family grow and achieve great things. In his quiet time, he enjoyed strumming the guitar and occasionally stargazing. We will always remember that he worked hard to care for his family, whom he cherished deeply.

On September 10, 1976, Robert married his eternal companion, Suzanne Workman. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple for eternity. Together they raised a beautiful family with many cherished memories of late nights at the baseball fields, fishing and camping, and shenanigans involving bottle rockets.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Workman; his children: Aaron (Shannon) Workman, Jon (Natalie) Workman, Caleb (Nicole) Workman, and Paul (Briana) Workman; 14 grandchildren; and siblings Boneta, Glendon, and Cyd.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Uvon Workman, and his granddaughter, Zoe Workman.

A graveside service will be held at the Vernal Memorial Park on July 26, 2025 at 12:00 PM.

Robert’s legacy of faith and love will continue to shine in the lives of his family and friends.
