Ranae Tomlinson Hardinger, 79, of Roosevelt, Utah, returned home to her father in Heaven on July 27, 2026, from the Villa Care Center.

She was born in Roosevelt, Utah, on October 5, 1946, to Arthor Tomlinson and Ila Fay Hatch. She married Gerald Cook but later married Elroy Hardinger.

Ranae worked at the Sage Café, Diamond Hills, and C&L Laundromat. She loved going to the horse-races and rode with the Dinah Spurs Riding Club.

She loved her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthor Tomlinson and Ila Fay Hatch; and her brother, Byron Tomlinson.

She is survived by her children, Betty Jo Lankford of Mt. Emmons; Lori Ann Miller (Morgan) of Taylorsville; Travis Gerald Cook (Shannon) of Mt. Emmons; and Billy Jo Cook of Ogden; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her brothers and sisters, Bud Tomlinson (Sue) of Vernal; Jack Tomlinson of Rangely, CO; and Von Tomlinson (Josie) of Ft. Duchesne.

Graveside services for Ranae will be Conducted Friday July 31, 2026 at 10 AM at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery

Friends and family will gather at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary from 9-9:30 prior for a Viewing
