Ralph T. Huber 9/26/1950-2/4/2012 Our beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Dad, and Papa passed away February 4, 2012 surrounded by his family at the University of Utah Hospital after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born in Roosevelt, Utah on September 26, 1950 to Lynn A. and Daun (Taylor) Huber. He married Loretta Jane Lee on September 2, 1972 in Elko, Nevada. They had three children and five grandchildren whom he dearly loved. Ralph enjoyed his job as a heavy equipment operator at Simplot Phosphate for thirty-two years. He served during the Vietnam War in the Heavy Artillery Division, and was also a gifted mechanic and carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, snowmobiling, farming, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife; Loretta, brother; Ray Huber of Vernal, nephew Lynn Huber of Lapoint, mother Daun (Dick) DeJournette, children; Colt (Marcia) of Vernal, Courtney (Dr. Christopher) Yarber of Spokane, Washington, and Kara (Richard) Schultz of Vernal, grandchildren; Jaylee, Anna, Tate, Gwen, and Claire. Ralph was preceded in death by his father Lynn A. Huber, and brother; Rex Huber. A gathering will be held at the Blackburn Mortuary Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. with funeral services following at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Maeser Fair View Cemetery under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
