Nola June Vinson

Nola June Vinson age, 94, of Vernal passed away November 26, 2023 at the Vernal Landmark Inn. She was born to Foy and LaVee John Zufelt on June 23, 1929 in Kline, CO.

Nola was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she spent years as a temple worker. She was musically talented and loved camping, fishing, bowling, and dancing, especially square dancing.

Nola married Richard Pehrson on July 21, 1947 and were married in the Manti Temple. Richard later passed away January of 1988.

She then met Hanley Vinson, they were married March of 1990. Hanley later passed away in 2016.

Nola is survived by her children, Stephen Pehrson, Paula Morgan, and Debra Black, Numerous grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Husband Richard Pehrson, daughters; Nancy Ball, Teri Henri, and late husband Hanley Vinson.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11 AM at the Monticello Stake Center (347 N 200 W), a viewing will be held from 10:30 – 11 prior to service at the Church.

Interment will be in the Monticello City Cemetery under the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
