Our beautiful mother, Nola Bristol, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 25, 2025 after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia five months prior to her passing.

Nola Bristol was born on February 13, 1947, to Hy and Bessie Hardman in Myton, Utah. Nola had 12 siblings: two sisters and ten brothers. She married the love of her life, Gene Bernis Bristol, on September 8, 1962. Gene and Nola were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 30, 1984. Together they created a beautiful family with their four children: Rodney Gene, Terry Evan, Karla Kim, and Kevin C. Nola had six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, as well as many equally loved bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her family unconditionally and touched the lives of so many others who loved her in return.

Nola was an amazing cook and baker. She spent every Thanksgiving and Christmas in the kitchen baking pies, raspberry and cherry delight, homemade chicken noodle soup, and our all-time favorite her scones. She made everything with love. Outside of the kitchen, Nola loved to surround herself with family during our yearly family reunions, hunting camp trips, or even quick weekend getaways. Nola and Gene loved going on rides with their side-by-side on the mountain. She had a love for traveling and had seen many beautiful places between California and New York and into Canada. In her last four years, she created a special bond with her dog, Toby, enjoying their car rides, daily treats, and doggy sleepovers with Toby and Teddy.

Nola Bristol was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved going to church every Sunday and visiting the temple often. Her testimony was very strong, and she loved people. To know Nola is to love Nola. Everywhere she went, and everyone who knew her, loved her and she loved them.

She is survived by her four children: Rodney Bristol, Terry (Melissa) Bristol, Karla (Lee) Slaugh, and Kevin (Michelle) Bristol; her sister, Nora; and three brothers: Fred, Al, and Raymond Hardman.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Bernis Bristol; parents, Hy and Bessie Hardman; sister, Eva; and brothers: Ray, Lester, Jay, Royal Floyd, Cecil, Melvin, and Ned.
