Neil Bergstrom

Neil Bergstrom was born March 12, 1939 to his loving parents John Theodore Bergstrom & Francis Leone (Rushton) Bergstrom in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Neil was the middle of five siblings, two older brother and two younger sisters.

Neil married the love of his life Sharen Jean Glidhill on June 3, 1960, They raised 3 children; Jodi, Tamara & Troy.

Neil was a very strong hard-working man in the profession of Timbering. His other occupation was building and restoring multiple old vehicles.

He also built 2 of his family homes in Lapoint, UT. He was known by many as a legend in the classic car community. He liked to support the Uintah Basin car shows. Neil made a new friend with everyone he talked to.

He is survived by his three children; Jodi (Rick) Maxwell, Tamara (Dale) Long, and Troy Bergstrom, 10 grandkids, 13 great grandkids, 2 sisters Carla (Tim) Brown, and Carol (Paul) Webb.

He is preceded in death by his Sweetheart Sharen Jean (Glidhill) Bergstrom, 2 brothers, Gary Bergstrom and John Sherman Bergstrom, and a grandson Chet Neil Bergstrom.

Neil will be dearly missed and loved by all who know him.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11 am at the Lapoint LDS Chapel, with a viewing held from 9:45 – 10:45 prior to the service at the Chapel. Burial will be in the Lapoint Cemetery next to his Sweetheart Sharen.
