Natalie Cole Madsen, age 10 of Vernal, Passed away at Primary Childrens Medical Center on July 4, 2012, after suffering a horse riding accident at the Western Park in Vernal. She was born March 4, 2002 in Roosevelt, Utah to Eddie and Katie Reary Madsen Jr. She grew up in Vernal, just completing the fourth grade at Maeser Elementary. She has many friends and family who love her and will miss her dearly. Natalie was a beautiful, talkative little girl who enjoyed hanging out at her Grandpas Ranch at White River and would chase anything with legs-horny toads, snakes, frogs, lizards, and rabbits. She loved swimming in the river, riding her horse, and was involved in the Jr. Rodeo and barrel racing. She will be remembered as a big hearted sweetheart who was excellent at reading and drawing. Natalie is survived by her parents, siblings; Kaytia, Brandy, Aubrie and Kasey, Grandparents; Eddie Sr. and Janet Madsen, Gail Frost, Vicci Betts, great grandma Lila Bristol, great grandpa B. T. Frost, aunts and uncles; Lucky, Ellie, Shawn, Dusty, Connie, Rick, Larry, Kory, Brett, Buffy, Tyson, Strider, Tadd, Lane, their spouses, and many, many cousins and friends. She was met in Heaven by her Grandpa Pat Reary, Great Grandma Shirley Frost, Aunt Eda, Great Uncle Pete, Great Grandpa Larry Bristol, and Natalies dog Pearl. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Viewings will be held Monday evening from 6-8 and 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Lapoint Cemetery under the care and direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
