Michael J. McHale 70, passed away June 18, 2015 at his home in Jensen. He was born January 27, 1945 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Margaret Higgins McHale. Mike served our country in the Navy during Vietnam. Worked as a Federal Ranger at Yosemite National Park. He came to the basin to work at Dinosaur Monument. After Retiring he enjoyed helping move cattle, riding his Harley and Visiting. He also worked at the local Lowes home center. Mike was a very big hearted guy and very patriotic. He is survived by his sister Kathleen Mulhevin of San Francisco, and a Niece Allison DeLaney. And many friends he made here in the basin. Graveside services for Michel Joseph McHale, age 70, of Vernal, will be on Monday, June 22, at 11:00 a.m. at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery, family and friends may call at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary Monday from 9:30-10:30 prior to going to Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion. Services are entrusted to the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
