Mary Chivers

Mary Lee Christensen Chivers age 82, of Whiterocks, passed away at her home on April 16, 2016. She was born April 7, 1934 to Jens and Selma Hackford Christensen. She married Tex Chivers. Mary was an avid reader, and she loved to crochet, dance, play the slots, most of all she loved being out of doors and hunting with her family. She was a member of the Uintah Band. Mary is survived by her children: Willis and (Rena) Chivers Leanna (John) Thunehorst, Darlene Hullinger. 49 Grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; beloved partner Norman Symonds, Brothers Dale and (Connie), Terry "Ted"(Georgie), Dennis (Deann), Gerald (Ladee), Vance (Sherry), Jules (Edith); Sisters Bolena (Juve) Aguilar, Elnora (Cliff) Chandler, Dixie (Bruce) Hendricks, Leona (Van) Jensen, Christina Hullinger. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Laura Aguilar granddaughters Cinder Chivers and Anna Aguilar great granddaughter Chole Atkins; brothers Roy, Vernon, Clarence and Webb. Graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Reed Cemetery, A viewing for Family and friends will be Monday from 7-9 PM at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Burial will be in the Reed Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
