Margie Gardner, peacefully passed away at home on January 12, 2024. She was born April 7, 1953 to Lynetta and Wilson Kurtz in Vernal, Utah. Margie married the love of her life Charles Campbell Gardner III on May 1st 1971. They were blessed with 4 children, Clinton, Brian, Christi, and Joni.

 She embodied a life dedicated to caring for others. As a nurturing caretaker, she not only raised her own family but also extended her love to extra kids, treating them as her own. She served in the capacity as a mother to Madeline and Gracie for many years always making sure they never wanted or needed for anything. Margie's compassion extended to caring for her aging mother and cherishing the role of a wonderful grandmother, always planning joyful activities for her grandchildren.

In her remarkable career as a nurse, specializing in geriatrics, Margie served tirelessly at Uintah Care Center. Her genuine care endeared her to patients, their families, and coworkers alike. Beyond the confines of her workplace, she selflessly assisted the sick in their homes, offering comfort through cooking, tending to wounds, and aiding in their recovery.

Margie found joy in various hobbies, from her renowned potato salad enjoyed at every family gathering to her passion for gardening, crochet, and embroidery. Together with her beloved husband, she created lasting memories through family vacations, eventually savoring travels to their favorite destinations once their children were grown. In recent years, she cherished moments on porch swings, surrounded by family, reveling in the simple joy of being outdoors.

Her mornings were marked by singing to wake her children and preparing hot breakfasts, turning her home into a welcoming hub where friends gathered. Movie nights with homemade popcorn balls and snack trays were a tradition, showcasing her generous spirit. Margie Gardner's life was a testament to selfless service, a legacy of giving that touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her husband Charles Campbell Gardner III, her children, Clinton Charles (Lisa) Gardner, Brian Gardner, Joni (Kevin) Smith, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 brother and 1 sister.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, 2 brothers, and daughter Christi Gardner.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
