Our loving husband, father and grandfather Lynn K Angus returned home to his Heavenly Father on January 29, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on March 17, 1951 in Roosevelt, Utah to Bert and Ila Angus. He married Sharon McArthur on August 18, 1973 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake temple on August 19, 1974. Lynn is preceded in death by his mother and father, Bert and Ila, and his sister Pam Thacker. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his sons, Mike (Niki), Daniel (Gina), Jed (Stephanie), Ryan (Daisy), Justin (Christy), Jason (Tiffany); Twenty-seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce (Bill) Huff, Annette (Jerry) Morris and Acel Thacker. Lynn loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Lynn loved the church and loved to help others and serve The Lord. He served in the Vernal temple weekly with Sharon and in many other callings including bishop and in the bishopric for several years. Lynn served a mission when he was 19 in Los Angeles, California. He and Sharon later served together in the West Indies and Singapore Missions. Lynn was a hard worker. He worked in construction and built multiple buildings and homes throughout the community, including remodeling most of the chapels in the Uintah Basin. He enjoyed gardening and farming. He also enjoyed fishing and anything outdoors. Lynn enjoyed traveling around the globe with his sweet wife Sharon by his side. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 3, at 11:00 A.M. at the Maeser Stake Center. Both viewings for family and friends will be at the Maeser Stake Center, Thursday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Friday from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will be at the Dry Fork Cemetery , under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
