Lonnie Gale Cundiff

Lonnie Gale Cundiff, 54, passed away on June 12, 2026, in Vernal, Utah. He was born on November 3, 1971, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, to Jerry and Jimmie Sue Cundiff.

Lonnie was a high school graduate. He was a welder for thirty plus years, and in the last three years, he became a welding/chief pipe inspector. He had a way of touching everyone’s heart. He loved hunting, shooting guns, and was the man of BBQing.

He married Nancy Cattoor Cundiff on December 3, 2002.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Jimmie Sue; his sister, Juanita Goodrich; his brother-in-law, Donald Cattoor; and his parents-in-law, Orville and Ruth Cattoor.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Cattoor Cundiff and their children O’rion (daughter) and Justin Risher of Richmond, TX; Lexy (daughter) and Taylor Grinnan of Bloomfield, NM; Noveta (stepdaughter) and Jeremy Triebwasser of Grand Junction, CO; Robert Sizemore (stepson) and Kami Wilcock of Vernal, UT; and Phillip Sizemore (stepson) of Vernal, UT. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
