Linda Latham

Linda passed away Oct 9, 2017 at 73 years of age. The Lord was merciful in taking her to her waiting family and only child. She loved her family so greatly. Moved from Moab to Vernal in 1975 to assist opening and managing the new Sprouse-Reitz variety store with her husband Ken, whom she married Nov 30, 1975. She spent 10 years managing with Ken until Ken left to work fro Deseret Power. She was exceptional in buying for any department of the store, especially appeal. She enjoyed keeping a spotless home. She had beautiful taste in decorating her home. Loved working in the yard. Spent 10 years gathering firewood and still to this day commented on trees that would be great firewood. An extremely self sacrificing woman devoted to those she loved. Linda was born in Richfield, Utah September 6, 1944 to Franklin and Thora Dalley. Moved to Provo and at 8 years of age moved to Moab, UT and finished growing up there. She spent many youthful summers with her Grandmother Josie in Kingston, UT. Very cherished times. A great influence in her life. Linda was preceded in death by her 2 day old son, Paul Duane Cathy, her Mother Thora Raymona Nielsen Twitchell, Father Franklin Verle Dalley, sisters Lorraine Bahr and Lanise Heffner & Carrie Stevens. She is survived by her brothers Martin (Kathy) and Kyle Twitchell and sister Willie Lue Payne. Funeral services will be Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Vernal 3rd Ward Chapel. (475 West 100 South next to temple). A viewing for family and friends will be at the Chapel from 9:30-10:45 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Rock Point Cemetery; Services are entrusted to the care of the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary.
