Lawrence Craig Caldwell, II, beloved brother, father and friend, passed away on August, 6, 2016 in Vernal, Utah. Larry was born on July 19, 1946 in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina to Lawrence Craig Caldwell and LaRaye Fausett Caldwell. Larry served in the Utah National Guard, Special Forces Division and was a second generation paratrooper. He loved the oil and gas business and was President of Del-Rio Resources. An avid outdoorsman, Larry was thrilled when he drew out for a special elk hunt. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July with all the fireworks. Larry married Franci Gillmor and they had two daughters, Casee and Lily and one adopted son, L.C. They later divorced. Larry is survived by his loving sister, Cheri Caldwell Martens (Steve), his father, Craig Caldwell, his sister, Tara Merkley (David) & brother, Jimmy Caldwell, his daughters, Casee Francis (John), Lily Marie Gillmor and his son, Lawrence Craig Caldwell, III. His niece, Tracy Foster (Brent), nephew, Michael Martens (Heather), granddaughter, Jahnavi Caldwell-Green, grandson, Avery Keeling, great niece, Ashlee Martens, and great nephews, Evan Martens and Stevie Foster. Larry was preceded in his death by his mother. The family would like to express their gratitude to Michael Martens and Theada Roloff for the years of care and service to Larry. An open house celebration of Larry's life will be held on September 3, 2016 at the home of his sister in Murray, UT, from 5 to 7 pm and on September 11, 2016 at Larry's home from 5 to 7 pm, in Vernal, UT.
