LaRae Baese

September 16, 1942 — October 16, 2023

Vernal

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of LaRae Baese, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who left this world on October 16th, 2023. LaRae, cherished wife of Karl “Boom” Baese, was a pillar of strength and love in her family. She is survived by her devoted husband Karl and their children Scott, Teri, and Brooke.

LaRae's warmth and kindness knew no bounds, touching the lives of everyone around her, especially her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who held a special place in her heart. Her love and guidance shaped their lives, and her memory will forever be a source of inspiration.

LaRae was not only a loving mother and grandmother but also a dedicated provider for her family. She worked tirelessly, running a motel where she poured herself into every aspect of the business. From doing laundry and making beds to folding sheets with the utmost care, LaRae ensured that her guests felt the warmth of a home away from home. Her hard work and dedication were a testament to her love for her family, as she managed the motel and attended to customers.

Beyond her work, LaRae's legacy lies in the love and support she showered upon her family. Her unwavering care and devotion created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. LaRae's spaghetti dinners were legendary among her family, a culinary masterpiece that everyone raved about. Her grandchildren, in particular, cherished the special tradition of having a 'toasty towel' prepared for them the moment they got out of the bath while staying at Grandma's house. It was these thoughtful gestures that made every moment spent with her unforgettable.

LaRae also had a deep appreciation for family gatherings and hospitality. She took immense joy in having family over, creating a warm and welcoming home environment where everyone felt loved and cherished. Her nurturing spirit extended to her yard, where she lovingly tended to her rose bushes and flower beds, creating a vibrant and beautiful space that reflected her love for life.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember LaRae for the incredible woman she was – a loving wife, a nurturing mother, a doting grandmother, and a dedicated provider. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
