Kyle Dean Hardinger
Our devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, Kyle Dean Hardinger, passed away January 10th, 2026 after battling ALS for 2 years. Kyle was born March 13, 1966 to Franklin Hardinger and Sherry Boren in Vernal, Utah. He married Lisa J Hardinger on January 19th, 1990 and had 2 children, Kylie (Mike) and Daniel (Jordan), and 2 grandchildren Dahlia and Bentlee.
He served in the Air Force and later retired from being an IT Security Manager at the Salt Lake Airport. He enjoyed the company of his family and friends, telling stories about his life. He loved his rock and roll music, 3 fingers of bourbon on ice, showing off his unique dance skills. He always cheered for the Miami Dolphins even saying “there’s always next year”. He also enjoyed watching movies with some peanut M&M’s, and relaxing outside reading a good book.
He is survived by his wife children and grandchildren; siblings, Tam Rundle, Brad Hardinger and Ron Hardinger; nephew, Ty Rundle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and step-daughter; Brandi Rhoades
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2 pm at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary, with viewings held Friday, January 16th from 6-8 PM and Saturday from 12:45- 1:45 prior to service, all at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park with Military Honors by the American Legion Post 11.
