Kristee Bettilyon

On Wednesday May 16th, 2018 at approximately 10:30 pm Central Time the courageous and beautiful life of Kristee Lynn Bettilyon (Roper) was tragically cut short.  An auto accident ended the life of the mother of Tari Bettilyon and Tyler Bettilyon, the daughter of Lonnie and Darlene Roper, and the sister of Derek and Carol Roper. Kristee began with little and worked very hard.  She started as a cashier in a Chevrolet Store in SLC.  From there her work ethic and commitment to service became apparent to all who know her.  She rose quickly through the accounting ranks of an auto dealership.  By Age 30 she was the Office Manager of the second largest Ford Store in the Country. Before she was 40 she was promoted to the CFO of an auto dealership.  This spot is most often reserved to Certified Public Accountants.  A notable achievement for a lady that never went to college.  Her children are well raised with one through college and the other with two years to go. She often told me with pride that she knew her children would graduate. Her dreams were always for the success of her family and her hope in God.  We will work to see her dreams come true and patiently await the day that we see her again

Funeral services will be Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Ashley 2nd Ward Chapel. (3040 North Vernal Ave). Burial will be in the Rock Point Cemetery.
