Kona Mar Winn was born to David Lee Jenkins and Beth Mott Jenkins on June 2nd, 1938. She left this earth peacefully May 6th, 2017 after a valiant fight against cancer. Kona Mar was married to Ray H. Allen in 1955 and they had five children together. They later divorced. On July 4th, 1986, she married her eternal companion Wesley William (Bill) Winn. She is survived by her husband, her siblings Jim (Jackie) Jenkins, Janice Jenkins, and Vickie (Paul) Oncken, and also by her children Terry Allen, Tracy (Lori) Allen, Troy (Ronda) Allen, Todd (Mary) Allen, Trisha (Steve) Rasmason, and stepdaughter Michelle (Jon) Schenk. She will also be missed by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the many friends who surrounded her in her final days. Kona Mar was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She found joy in the many close relationships and friendships that she made through the callings in which she served. Kona Mar was known for her sharp mind, quick wit, and for her ability to make everyone in her life feel important and loved. She was a queen among women. Words cannot adequately express how much she will be missed. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 15th, 2017 at 11:00 o'clock at the Ashley 1st LDS Chapel at (3040 N. Vernal Avenue), Vernal UT 84078. A viewing will be held for family and friends on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary, 15 E. 100 N. Vernal UT 84078 from 6:00 PM until8:00 PM. and at the Chapel from 9:45-10:45 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. www.blackburnvernalmoruary.com
