Kevin Van Houten ,59, left this earth November 15th, 2023 with his wife Luz by his side at his home in Cedar City, Utah. 

He was born November 17th, 1964, in Mt. Vernon Ohio. To Pamela Robison, And Richard Vanhouten. Richard worked construction and Pamela was a mother and homemaker.

When Kevin was a child, he loved to play church with his sister Barbra, and work outside with his grandpa. He loved board games and cars. As a young man he joined the army and served our country. 

Later in life he met his first wife Kathy and had two daughters together. After their divorce he traveled and enjoyed life to its fullest. 

Later in life he met and married his second wife Luz, and adopted her son Kurt. 

He spent the remaining years of his life. Loving his children and grandchildren more than anything. Kevin was an amazing man and will be missed terribly. 

Services for Kevin will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vernal Blackburn Mortuary with a viewing prior to services from 9:45-10:45.
