Kelly Collier, 59, passed away on July 8, 2026, in Vernal, Utah.
Kelly was born on March 15, 1967, to Daniel and Charlene Collier. He grew up traveling to different states while his father worked on the pipelines. Following in his father’s footsteps, Kelly became an exceptional welder and spent many years working on pipelines and in the oilfield.
Kelly experienced a few great loves throughout his life. He married Amy in 1988, and together they welcomed three children: Jake, Alex, and Harley. They later divorced in 1998. In 2001, Kelly married Teri and gained three more children, Kegan, Carlee, and Christian, whom he continued to love and consider his own even after their marriage ended. The love of his life is his Gina. They met in 2010 and spent the last 16 years building a life together.
Kelly loved welding, fishing, and building just about anything he could imagine. He was always searching for his next project and could often be found working around the house or creating little gadgets. More than anything, Kelly loved his children. They weren’t just his kids—they were his best friends.
Kelly was a friend to everyone he met. When he loved, he loved deeply. He was always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. A man of his word, he took pride in following through on his promises and being someone others could depend on. He said what he meant and meant what he said. His quick wit and sense of humor kept everyone on their toes, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Kelly is survived by his beloved partner, Gina; his children, Jake Collier, Harley (Nick) Collier, Carlee Wiley, and Christian Wiley; his seven grandchildren; his parents, Daniel and Charlene Collier; his siblings, Daniel T. Collier, Vickie (Gary) Martinsen, and Mickel Collier; and many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Kelly is preceded in death by his infant son, Alex James Collier, and his stepson, Kegan Tolbert.
