Karen Ann James

Karen Ann James passed away on March 15, 2022 at her home in Vernal. She was born July 27, 1961 in Moab, Utah to Neldon and Irene Lemon.

She loved the outdoors, camping, and off roading. She loved her house plants and enjoyed boating in the summertime. Karen loved all of her kids and had a good life with her best friend, her husband.

She met her future husband Danny James in 1977, they were married February 5, 1983.

They had 3 children; Sye born July 14, 1983, Jessica, born February 14, 1986, and Autum James, born August 26, 1988.

Karen loved Jeep safaris in Moab and the red rock was her favorite. Easter with her parents in Moab was always something the whole family looked forward to.

She was married to her best friend for almost 40 years, she will be deeply missed by all her family.

Karen is survived by her dear husband Danny James, children Sye James of Vernal, Jessica (Milo) McKinnon of Vernal, Autum (Jeremy McDougald) James, of Vernal, 7 grandchildren, siblings Doug Lemon, Robert Lemon, LaReta L. McFarland, and Ralph Lemon.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Neldon and Irene, grandparents Lamar and Ada Bridge, Frank Lemon, Leona Lemon, and Eva Lemon., brother Doug Lemon, Grace James, Daniel James, Alice Gibson James, William Mcray Marvidakis, James Van Paletta and AJ. Maguire

Funeral Services for Karen will be held Monday, March 21, at 2 pm at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with a viewing 1 hour prior. Services are entrusted under the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
