Jolyn Taylor

Jolyn Smith Taylor, age 66, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family, laughter and love. A daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to many people who love her dearly and miss her already. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eugene Rex Smith, and Geraldine Timothy Smith Carroll. She graduated from Uintah High School in 1967. After completing bachelor's degrees from BYU and USU, she taught school in Davis County. She is survived by her siblings Mike (Sydney) Smith, Kent (Sally) Smith, Kathleen (Mike) Palmer, Ann (Verlyn) Cook, Paul (Anna) Carroll, and Pat (Debbie) Carroll, her children Diane (Tom) Dalpiaz, Gordon Taylor, and Sarah (Trent Meyers) Taylor, and Grandchildren Tommy, Taylorann, and Brodi Dalpiaz.
