Johnny Davis, our beloved Dad, Grandpa and brother, born December 20, 1944 to Homer and Verdella Davis, passed away December 5, 2018 at his home in Vernal, Utah.

 

He was raised on a small farm in Green River, Utah.  He loved taking care of animals with his Dad and sister.  He loved motorcycle, boat, and horse racing.  

 

He married Jeanny Seely, September 4, 1964 in Green River, Utah. Together, they had five children, Misty (Toby) Gilroy, Monica (Randy) Gallagher, Monique (Jason) Workman, Maria (Landon) Moore, and Michelle (Craig) Chamberlin. They later divorced.

He then married Lacey Searle and had two daughters, Savannah and Destiny.  They later divorced.

He loved his children and enjoyed making Christmas presents from wood for them. 

He also loved spending time with his many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

 

He was an honor student and received his Bachelor in Education degree from USU and a Building Technology Degree from Salt Lake Technology Institute.  He had his contractors license and built many homes and specialized in custom cabinets.  

 

He is survived in death by his sister Judy (Robert) Scott, Green River, Utah.

He is proceeded in death by Homer Davis (father), Verdella Davis (mother), and Jay Davis (Brother).

Funeral services for Johnny Mack Davis will be Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 9:00 am and a Viewing the night before from 6-8 pm. Both services will be held at the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary. proceeding the Funeral will be a Graveside Service in at Green River Cemetery at 2:30. Under the direction Of Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary and Cremation Care
