Joan Politte

Joan B. Politte, age 86, of Vernal passed away in her sleep on May 12, 2022. She was born to John Alexander & Pauline Ashbaugh Becker on July 11, 1935. She served our country as a Civil Air Patrol. She loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, hunting for fossils and arrowheads, and always looking for special rocks. Joan loved small farms. Her passion was caring for all cats especially Feral cats. She did her part with spading and nursing even feral cats. She will be greatly missed.  

She is survived by her children, Judith Scott and Matt Politte; brother, Jerry Becker, 13 grandchildren, numerous Great -Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in-death by her, husband, Dalton T. Politte, son, Danny Politte, Parents, John and Pauline Becker, twin sisters, Mary & Margret. Viewing for Family and friends will be Friday, May 13, 2022 from 6-8 p.m at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
