Jimmy Jordan Rowe, age 77, of Vernal, Passed away at his home on April 14, 2020. He was born January 27, 1943 in Ocillia, Georgia to Wilber Jordan & Dorthy Allene Hutto Rowe. Jimmy served his country in the Army. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Linda Jean Watkins on January 12, 1979 in Vernal, Utah from this married he gained a daughter, Shirlyne whom he adopted as his own. Linda and Jimmy were sealed in the Vernal Temple on November 14, 1998. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in the Uintah Mountains. His wife, children and grandchildren were the most important things to him. Jimmy worked in the Oilfield, specializing in the Downhole Tooling.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Linda Jean Watkins Rowe; daughters, Shirlyne (Guadalupe) Trevizo and Sabrina (William) Deppe all of Vernal, Utah. Mother-in-law Delma Watkins; brothers, Charles (Penny) Frantz of Casper, WY; Linda (Ed) Scott of Moorcroft, WY.
He we preceded in death by his: Mother, Allene Bray; Father William E Frantz; Brothers, James Frantz and John Stanley Frantz; father-in-law, Shirley Watkins.
Parking lot Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Davis 1st & 4th Ward Parking lot. We will be having it set up like a drive-in movie theater with everyone staying in their vehicles, to fully obey the COVID 19 Social Distancing. (3990 South 1500 East). Viewing - Open House for family and friends will be Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
