Jessie Jean Wood age 22 of Vernal, Utah passed away on March 15, 2013. He was born on September 26, 1990 to John Wood and Alisa Postma. Jessie was engaged to be married to Dashell Bristol in July of 2013. He lived his life in Vernal, UT and spent time living in Green River, WY. Jessies children and fiance were the light in his eye. He loved them so much. He was a hard worker and worked in the Oilfield for Mountain States providing for his family. He loved to fish, golf, ride four wheelers and motorcycles. He was also very proud of his truck. Jessie graduated from Clearfield Job Corps. Jessie had a special relationship with his mother Lisa. He also was close to his dad John and spent time living with him. He will be greatly missed by his sister Sheasha Lawson and brother Triston Wood. Jessie had a special heart and was loved by so many. He will be missed but never forgotten. Jessie is survived by his father John T. Wood, mother Lisa and Bill Postma, Fiance Dashell Bristol, son Christopher Wood, son Dexton James, Sister Sheasha (Ryan) Lawson, brother Triston Wood, brothers Dagon, Dalton Wood and Trevor Blackburn, brother Billy (Sara) Postma, brother Jason (Alisa) Postma, brother Jamie Postma, sister Nicole Postma, Nieces and Nephews. There are many family and friends that is too many to mention. Jessie will be greeted in Heaven with open arms by those who went before him. His Grandparents Jesse Ivan and Alta Karren and Jean and John Sr. Wood. The services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Naples LDS Chapel with viewings Tuesday evening from 6-8 at the mortuary and 1 hour prior to the services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the care of the Blackburn Mortuary.
