Ida Cook, age 86 was reunited with her Heavenly Father on March 27, 2012 in West Valley City, Utah with her family by her side. She is survived by her children, Wanda (Daniel) Flores of West Valley City, Sarah Priebe of Vernal, Terry (Shirley) Stansfield of Wellington, Marvin (LeIsle) Stansfield of Price, Gary (Dawn) Stansfield of Price, Leland (Jacqueline) Stansfield of Blackfoot Idaho, Byron (Myrlene) Stansfield of Springdale, Utah, Carol (Buz) Fletcher of Vernal and Clyde (Leesa) Stansfield of Altamont, Utah 52 grandchildren, 144 Great Grandchildren and 32 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sisters Leona Burson, Iva Jensen, Joyce Karcich Keller, her brother Wilford Bird and her brother in laws, a son in law August Priebe, Grandchildren Kenna, Shane and Chris Stansfield, Steven Potter, Great Grandchildren Deandra Vasquez and Vicki Priebe. Ida was born October 29, 1925 to Edna Pearl Roper and Isaac Wilford Bird in Bluebell, Utah. She married Lenard Lavar Stansfield on July 22, 1941 and their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple on November 10, 1961. Lavar passed away on April 8, 1966. She married Don R. Cook on January 2, 1985 and Don passed away on March 20, 1997. Ida was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she served in many positions. She loves her Heavenly Father and loved to serve. Ida had many loves in her life, first and foremost was her family; she loved the outdoors, camping, family reunions and taking trips with her kids. Her family loved her very much and she will be greatly missed. Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
