Harlen R. Collier returned to his heavenly home on October 27, 2018 to be reunited with his wife Marjorie Ann Collier.

He was born April 10, 1933 in Vernal, Utah to George Franklin and Barbara Roena Stevens Collier. He meet the love of his life Marjorie Ann Yeaman while working in Tooele, Utah; Married on August 6, 1951. They spent many happy years traveling the world during Harlen’s career in Oil Exploration. Harlen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints. He grew up in Davis Ward where he loved horseback riding, fishing and hunting. After retiring they were able to keep traveling as snowbirds.

Harlen is survived by his children, Linda Rios; Julie Baker, Kelvin Collier; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren all of Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; brother, Melvin Collier; 3 sisters, Erma Long, Naomi Slaugh, Iona Williams; and baby daughter, Laura.

 

 

Funeral services for will be conducted on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary. A viewing for family and friends will be from 10:30-12:00 prior to the services all at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. Under the care and direction of the Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary & Cremation Care.
