Elvis Preston Smith passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 in home in Jensen, Utah. He was born February 10, 1930, in Iraan, Texas to George and Nora Lee Smith. Preston loved his family, his music, and his dogs. He married Shari East on December 6, 1954 and had a son Rocky Scott Smith, he later married Shirley Jackson, on April 19, 1957 and had three daughters LeAnn, Cheryl, and Lana.

He loved entertaining at the Care Center and Golden Age Center.

Preston is survived by his children, Rocky (Sandy) Smith of Bayview, Idaho, LeAnn Spoon (David Pitchford), of Vernal, Utah, Cheryl (Gene) Robertson of Vernal, Utah, and Lana (Jimmy) Hogue of Vernal, Utah, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great- grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his parents George and Nora Smith, his sisters Margie and Pansy, his grandson Robert Spoon.

Services will be held Thursday February 3, 2022 at 11 AM with a viewing 1 hour prior at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
