Elroy "Roy" Hardinger

Elroy "Roy" Hardinger of Vernal, Utah passed away July 17, 2016 at the age of 65 in his home surrounded by family and friends. Elroy was born on July 9, 1951, in Roosevelt, Utah. He was the father of four sons, Rory (Becky), Randy, James Jay, Billy Joe and grandfather to Kolton, Kenyen, and Kelly. Roy was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors, his sons and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Monroe Hardinger, mother, Minnie Mabel Witherell, brother, Franklin C. "Butch" Hardinger and sister, Patricia Ann Hardinger Stanley. He is survived by his wife, Renee Tomlinson, the mother of his children, Shirley Fausett, his children, grandchildren, and his older brothers, Richard and Jay Hardinger. As a family, we find comfort in the knowledge that Roy is in a state of peace and rest, reunited with loved ones, until we meet again. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery with military honors. A viewing will be 1 hour prior at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary prior to traveling to Cemetery.
