Doris Huffaker

Doris May Flowers Huffaker left this earth on Saturday May 9th, 2015. She was born on December 13th, 1924 to Harry and Viola Flowers. She was married in 1944 to Wilber Keith Cook and had two children. They were later divorced. She married Donald Winn Huffaker. They had 3 children. They were also divorced. Doris was involved in many community activities including Humane Society, Senior Companion Program, Parents without Partners, Ladies of the Elks and TOPS. She worked for Ashton's, Bank of Vernal, Christensen Diamond, Ross Construction, Dave Jolley Chevrolet, Utah Motel and General Electric in Salt Lake, among others. She is survived by her children and their spouses: JoLynn (Tom) Cover, Susan (Tom) Rezanina, (both of Casper, Wy), Ann (Eric) Hunting, Chad Huffaker and Steve (Cindy) Huffaker, 15 grandchildren and 35 great grand children, and a few family members in Nebraska. Memorial Services will be Thursday May 14th at 10 am at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. There will not be a viewing or a program. Please come visit and bring your memories of mom. Memorial services will be Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. arrangements are under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
