Donna Watkins

Donna Lou Watkins, Born February 21, 1940 in Afton Wyoming. Her father was in the military so she traveled and spent time in Japan and graduated from high school in France. She met Glade while he was doing training at Fort Ord in California. She was thrilled to meet someone who could dance. They fell in love. They were married September 12, 1960 in the Logan Temple. She and Glade served with the Lions Club for several years. They Served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Leeds England mission. She was an ordinance worker in the Temple and served as assistant to the Maitron when Glade was a councilor in the Temple presidency. She passed away September 28, 2025 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Glade and her children David (Phyllis), Gary (Kathleen), Kristine Jensen (Charles), sisters JoAnn, Becky and Carolyn, brothers Frank and Mike, and 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers Scott and Wayne.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 6, 2025 at 11 AM at the Ashley Stake Center (100 South 475 West) with viewings held Sunday, from 5-7 PM at the Blackburn Mortuary and 1 hour prior to services at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park.
