Dennis Gardiner

Dennis R. Gardiner April 1, 1952—July 11, 2026

Dennis, 74, passed away on July 11, 2026, after a battle with cancer.

He was born in Vernal to Don E. Gardiner and Eva E. White Gardiner on April 1, 1952.

He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors. His passions were his Harly Davidson and woodworking.

He was a very caring man who always looked out for others and cared for their needs. He was known as Mr. Gabby. He loved to talk to anyone and share life experiences.

He is proceeded in death by his parents (Don E. Gardiner and Eva E. White Gardiner); his brother, Tommy E. Gardiner; his spouse, Shirley Kalka; and his brother-in-law, Mathew Merz.

He leaves behind his sisters, Evelyn Barney (Vernal), Lisa Williamson (Vernal), Cathy Walker (Ivans, Utah); his son, Heath Gardiner (Missouri); his daughter, Summer Farnsworth (Missouri); his brother-in-law, Bryan Kalka (Vernal); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His wishes were to be cremated and placed beside loved ones who passed before him.
