Our sweet, handsome Slade Man was called home to join our loved ones above on April 29th 2026. Slade was born on May 9th, 2001 in Roosevelt, UT. We were overjoyed to bring home our first son. He was adored and engulfed in love. He held a protective nature that defined him throughout his whole life. He exemplified unconditional love and never hesitated to show it and say it out loud. He cherished his people.
Slade had a spirit enthused with curiosity, strength, and resilience. Driven by an endless thirst for knowledge, Slade was a life long learner. He had a brilliant, beautiful mind. He had many passions, and a powerful zest for life.
He was notorious for his spontaneous drives and anyone he could grab to come along for a good jam. Slade lived by “If it ain’t stick, it ain’t worth driving.” He enjoyed teaching his mom and siblings to drive a manual and knew all the tricks. He had a natural ability as a mechanic, his pride and joy was his GTI Golf Volkswagon.
Music was a large part of who Slade was. He loved to sit down and create beats, and he had a talent for discovering unknown artists and was always excited to share them with his siblings and friends. He loved attending concerts.
Slade was a hard worker who left home at 17 to go work full-time for his boss and mentor, Mike Williams. He excelled in his work and gained the respect of many co-workers as he became the youngest supervisor of the property management company, “All Seasons” in Park City Utah.
His Grandpa Herb and Grandpa Don instilled in him a love for the great outdoors. It is where he found solace and recently started practicing and mastering the art of fly fishing. He had a firm belief that nature was the truest form of therapy.
Slade jumped at the chance to serve, and was always eager to help in any way he could. He thrived in the kitchen and loved to treat his loved ones to his gourmet cooking. He knew how to have fun and his laugh is something we will all remember and treasure -- it is truly unforgettable!
Slade’s legacy of humor, perseverance, and learning will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His life will forever be an inspiration and a testament to the power of love!
Slade is survived by his mom, Melissa Ayotte, (Pete); His Dad, Dennis Anderson, (Merideth); his siblings: Mack, Skylar (Tara), Samauree (Bennett), Savanah (Landen), Syree, Sabreya, Saliah, Shaeffer, and Elijah; his nieces and nephews: Emmra, Beckett, Herb, Nellie, Penny, August, Stevie, Noah, Everett, and Brylee; His grandparents Don & Elja Anderson and Sharen Shaeffer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded by his grandfather, Herb Shaeffer and baby Phoenix.
“I’ve never met anyone like him. My eyes swell with tears for all the reasons as I put my thoughts here. This day when he was born 25 years ago he was already bigger than I. Our family was in for a treat for all the wisdom he
offers. His soul aligns amongst the waves of the ocean and his heart anchors in at the peak of a snowy mountain. Music is his truest love. He is kind. He is loyal. He’s my son, and I am so honored. Happy Birthday Slade! We’re all crazy about you!”
